Volunteering

The Blake Cottage Trust welcomes volunteers from the local Bognor area and beyond who are willing to give their time and energy to support the work of the trust.  There are many activities where we need support.  Some of the work focuses on the fabric of the cottage itself, but there are many other areas such as communications and fundraising where every contribution helps.

Quite apart from the direct contribution volunteering makes towards achieving our goals there is an additional, and little known benefit - every hour someone contributes counts as a donation with a monetary value as far as some of our funding organisations are concerned.  If we can show how much support we have, it substantially increases our chance of winning new grants and awards.
