2025 has been an extraordinary year for The Blake Cottage Trust. None of the progress made would have been possible without the generosity of our donors. Your support enabled vital conservation assessments, structural investigations, and professional planning that have clarified what is urgently required to protect Blake Cottage and secure its future. With your help, we strengthened governance, built key partnerships, and expanded public engagement, transforming vision into credible action. Crucially, your generosity has allowed us to adopt a phased approach: stabilising and restoring the cottage while developing plans for a wider Blake Centre. With continued support, we can safeguard this unique site and realise its potential as a living centre for Blake’s enduring legacy. But we continue to need your fantastic support!

Ways to Support Our Work

You can make the continuing work of The Blake Cottage Trust possible by supporting us in several ways. UK-based donors can contribute through one-off or regular donations, Gift Aid–eligible gifts (which significantly increase the value of your donation at no extra cost), or through legacies and gifts in memory of others. We also welcome the offer of volunteer effort locally or remotely - it has been vital in achieving what we have done so far.

US-based donors can support the project via tax-efficient charitable giving routes available to American donors, enabling contributions to be made in dollars while supporting this UK heritage project. 

In all cases, 100% of donations are directed to the realisation of the Blake Cottage and Blake Centre project. The trustees work entirely on a voluntary basis, without remuneration, ensuring that every gift directly supports conservation, planning, and public engagement rather than administrative overheads.
