The Blake Cottage Trust is a registered UK charity dedicated to conserving and restoring William Blake’s historic Felpham home located on the south coast of England - an internationally important landmark where Blake lived from 1800–1803 and wrote the immortal words that became Jerusalem.
For donors in the United States, giving to the Trust is simple, secure, and tax-efficient.

How to Make a Tax-Efficient Donation (For US Donors)
U.S. individuals, foundations, and organisations can make fully tax-deductible donations to The Blake Cottage Trust through CAF America, a registered 501(c)(3) public non profit. CAF America provides a compliant, streamlined, and fuss-free way to support charities outside the U.S.A. such as ours.
Step 1 — Complete the Donor Advised Gift Form (Required)

CAF America requires all U.S. donors to complete and sign their Donor Advised Gift Form Gift Form, which authorises the direction of your gift to The Blake Cottage Trust.
This form must be submitted before your donation can be processed. You can access the form here.
The form offers the option of donating by check, wire-transfer or stock transfer. Donations by credit card need to be made through the online portal described in step 2 below.

If you wish to donate online, please use CAF America’s secure donation portal using this link or the button below and enter the following information:

• UKCC Number (our UK Registered Charity Commission No): 1160716
CAF America will issue you the appropriate tax receipt for your U.S. tax return and transfer your gift safely to The Blake Cottage Trust.
Using the CAF America portal to make a tax efficient donation incurs the following fees:
8% of the first $100,000 (minimum fee $80*)
4% of the next $200,000
1% of any additional amount over $300,000
Unless you prefer otherwise, all major donations will be publicly acknowledged on our website and across our different platforms.
You will also be automatically subscribed to our monthly online newsletter, allowing you to follow our conservation progress and stay updated on the 2027 Blake Bicentenary celebrations.
To opt out of public acknowledgement or newsletter updates, simply let us know.
Smaller donations
Smaller donations
Donations through CAF America incur a minimum administration fee of $80, so if you would like to give a smaller amount for which the associated administration fee makes little sense, you can donate directly to the Trust but you will not receive the tax deductible credit associated with a 501(c)(3) public non profit donation.
